Like everyone, you’ll come to money coaching with specific, unique needs and objectives. The SMM-Foundation process takes just three hours, but it will meet those needs in a customized, personal way that will bring you a greater sense of financial power and confidence than you’ve ever had.

How does SMM-Foundation work?

When you call me to set up your SMM-Foundation sessions, I’ll answer any logistical questions you have, and we’ll schedule two sessions, the first for two hours, and the second for one hour. We can conduct these sessions at my office in Denver or over the phone from anywhere in the world.

Before the first session, you’ll have the opportunity to begin gathering your Money Foundation information by digging into your current situation, beliefs, and needs. I’ll give you two short projects as “homework” before our meeting:

YOUR FINANCIAL STATEMENT (optional):
Can you tell me where you currently stand financially? I’ll give you a one-page financial statement format you can use, if needed. You’ll either come in with a clear statement of your net worth, or that’ll be our first order of business when we meet.

YOUR MONEY COACHING NEEDS:
Second, I’ll send you a number of yes/no questions that give us both (or the three of us, if you’re part of a couple) a sense of where you are, what you know, and what you need. Your answers to these questions will help me know where to focus as we jump start your financial life. We may be working on cleaning up financial problems, or you may be sailing along, ready to maximize your financial returns. We may work on planning your future, or on making the most of your financial legacy. We’ll personalize our work to strengthen your MoneyFoundation right from the start.

SESSION ONE (two hours):
This session may include any or all of the following:

SESSION TWO (one hour):
Between sessions, you will have homework, tailored to your needs. You’ll be exploring your own financial situation, educating yourself about financial matters, and absorbing what you learned and felt in the first session.

With a fresh perspective, we come back together for a follow-up session within three weeks of the first session. During the third SMM-Foundation hour, we’ll celebrate your gains to date, answer questions that came up through your work, and strategize next steps.

After the second SMM-Foundation session, some clients choose to enter a longer-term coaching relationship through SeeMoreMoney, while many feel well-equipped to move forward on their own.
